Chiropractic Offers New Hope for Infertility

Month after agonizing month, countless couples wait in the hope of realizing their dream of becoming parents, and the dream continues to elude them. It is estimated that infertility affects more than six million couples nationwide. Now, there is convincing evidence that chiropractic adjustments may prove beneficial to these couples in making their dream a reality.

Alcoa-area couples find hope with chiropractic care.

As chiropractors, we’re trained to find and identify nerve interference, called subluxation. This interference may hinder a woman’s ability to become pregnant. Nerves that run from the brain to the reproductive organs travel through the spine. When subluxation is present, normal nervous system functioning is compromised which may hinder the production of the hormones necessary for a woman to become pregnant.

The Journal for Vertebral Subluxation Research reported that in a related research study, 15 women who had been unable to conceive, some for 10 years or longer, began regular chiropractic care. For 14 of these women, their ability to conceive improved dramatically, becoming pregnant and giving birth!

If you’re trying to have a family, or know someone who is, give us a call. A thorough examination can uncover the presence of any nonsymptomatic subluxation that could be affecting fertility.
